Being intimately involved in the entire process of audit assurance, from planning to final report writing at one of the largest audit firms in the world, she has garnered unquestionable financial experience which translates to client satisfaction. She is experienced with planning, execution and finalization of audits on financial statements for some of the largest organizations in Sri Lanka specifically within the services of telecommunications, trading, manufacturing, broadcasting. She has also been tasked with reviewing the work of audit teams, providing guidance on active audits, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and government / company regulations, preparation of financial statements, auditor’s and other management reports. Continued tasks also included supervising and dealing with different divisions for payable process, preparation of reports on branch expenses, handling cash/salary advances, PAYE, UKPAYE, Per diems, VAT, handling Stock Exchange matters, Nasdaq payments, recording capital expenditure, preparation of consolidated accounts and notes for group purpose in Accounts Payable, Property Plant and Equipment. His is experienced with planning and project managing all aspects of audits, analyzing problems, identifying core issues, investigating, evaluating and integrating information. He also monitors and upholds high quality of service and products to clients (internal and external).
Some of his direct responsibilities included planning, execution & finalization of audits on financial statements for some of the largest organizations in the Maldives specifically within the services, construction, government organization, Banking, hospitality, shipping services, retail, manufacturing, trading & stock exchange. He has worked closely with senior client management in providing expert advice on all corporate financial matters including audit declarations, taxation, and audit-related services pertaining to reviews of international bond issues. He was also instrumental in carrying out in-depth analysis of the client’s business environment; both internal and external, identifying risk factors associated with company finances and suggesting mitigating factors to the senior management & board of directors.
